The People Keeper Seminar™
Goals: Improve Motivation, Retention and Recruitment...Faster

The results from this Seminar and Follow Up process can be exceptional: lower turnover, increased motivation, better performance and more positive employee-manager relations. It's ideal if you are looking for faster results.
Mark Holmes is the exclusive resource for the seminar.

How it works:

There are four steps that make the process work effectively...

Step One: Initial Needs Assessment

The People Keeper Survey is administered prior to my arrival, and focus group interviews are conducted on the first of my 3 day trip to your company. You and I will then do an in-depth assessment together and I will review my conclusions and findings with you personally. Based on the Survey and interview results, I will fine-tune the Seminar so that it is highly targeted to your team's needs.

Step Two: Seminar For Your Team

A. Survey Results Presented To Management Team
B. Seminar

Some of what your team will learn:

  • How to decrease turnover
  • Ways to praise and reward
  • How to increase morale without beefing up the paycheck
  • Building positive relationships
  • Secrets to more powerful Listening
  • Communication skills
  • How to profit from the People Keeper Tools:
    • The Power of 12
    • 20 Standards of Teamwork and Communication
    • The People Keeper Survey
    • The Leadership Skills Appraisal and Career Tracking Tool
  • Developing a clear strategy and action plan for retaining better employees
  • Creating word-of-mouth "hiring" from your employee base
  • Making a company's atmosphere feel good and positive
  • Managers as mentors
  • Leading from the heart not just the head
  • Developing an individualized improvement plan
Recommendation: I strongly recommend that each participant reads The People Keeper prior to the seminar.

Step Three: Personal, One-On-One Coaching With Your "Managers-At-Risk"

Inevitably, there are one or more managers that would benefit from some direct talk and advice about their challenges. Based upon the Needs Assessment and your assessment of the individual's needs, I will work briefly with your manager to get them on a course to improvement. It's brief yet insightful and the results can be for a lifetime.

Step Four: 3 Month Unlimited Access "Follow-Up" For Enhanced Results

Follow-up helps you strategically (how to handle difficult managers, what to say, how to keep the team committed,) and procedurally (accountability and reward, performance appraisals, improvement plans). Each month you and I will determine together the current progress and the challenges. We can visit by phone, E-mail, fax or even in person if convenient for both of us. You can call me weekly if needed, or E-mail me in between calls.

Think of this access as having your own Coach who helps keep you on course, helps anticipate and helps problem solve anytime you need it. For more information about my consulting company's services and how we might meet other needs that your company may have, click here.

To Get Started: You and I discuss in an initial call, whether this process is beneficial for your organization. The fee is $10,000, which distinguishes those who are serious about improving morale, performance and retention in their business. One-half of the fee is due before any work begins, if paid in full deduct 5 percent.

Remember, this investment is very wise when compared with the rising, enormous costs of turnover and unsatisfactory performance. Saving just one good employee can pay for the whole cost of this process.

Action Step: If you are interested or have questions, please call me at 800-841-8540, or email me at info@thepeoplekeeper.com. Please leave the best time and number to call you at.

Manager Makeover

Introduction:

The Manager Makeover is an individualized learning process designed to help a manager, supervisor or business owner improve people skills. It is highly flexible and designed to fit your schedule.

After an initial Needs Asessment, we will spend one day in person reviewing the Assessment results and going over the progress plan for improvement which I've developed requisite to your needs. The balance of the work is done by phone whenever it best fits your schedule. The Manager Makeover progresses in stages and you can stop the process anytime you wish.

Goals:
  1. Significantly strengthen a manager or business owner's people skills, communications, employee relations and leadership effectiveness.
  2. Achieve remarkable increases in employee morale, productivity, job satisfaction, teamwork and talent retention.
Steps:

FIRST, you and I will conference by phone to determine whether your situation and needs could be significantly benefitted by this change process. If so...

Phase One: Needs Assessment

  1. Survey your employees/associates to develop an effective identification of your unique needs/goals
    - Work-Life Satisfaction Assessment (People Keeper Survey)
    - Leadership Skills Assessment (LSA)
  2. May conduct a sampling of phone interviews with some of your employees if determined necessary.
  3. Will explain to your employees as we undertake Phase One that, I'm working with you to help make the workplace even "more" satisfying and rewarding, and that this is a rare and wise investment by your company that not too many organizations make for their employee's welfare. So, you are cast in the most positive light possible.
Phase Two: Assessment Results, Recommendations and Coaching

We will have a 1 day meeting to review your assessment results and begin working on your greatest need areas. You can see improvements from our first meeting as I point out areas you can't see yourself. I'll review my recommendations and a learning plan for your progress. You will enjoy a refreshing trip to the Branson, Missouri area and the beautiful Ozarks for our private meeting.

Phase Three: Personal Improvement and Growth
  1. The initial one day Assessment review and coaching sessions are intense and possibly profound as we discuss issues of improvement that may be "eye opening" for you.
  2. The remaining time (aprx. 30 -40 days) of the Makeover utilize phone conferencing (or you can come to me if convenient for both of us) to advance on our training plan, do trouble shooting, Q & A, etc. We will follow the carefully designed progress plan that I've created based on your needs, this can include an occasional assigned reading that I want to discuss with you. We'll tackle anything you need, as much as you need, to get permanency of results and reach your goals.
  3. We go at your pace and on your schedule. We talk weekly or daily at times if you need. We work around your schedule.
Phase Four: Conduct Post-Survey and Assessment of Needs

  1. I will re-survey your employees to assess in what areas and to what degree you have made improvements. (Follows the 60 day conclusion of the Manager Makeover).
  2. I will present the results in a phone conference (or you can come to my location if convenient) and make additional recommendations for your further learning and long-term progression.
Actual Case Study: [Actual names have been changed to protect identities].

Ralph, a mid-aged leader was recruited by my well-known client because of his outstanding technical expertise and great reputation within the industry. He was hired to run a high-exposure division for my client. Ralph scored among the lowest scores ever in the company's history on his employee job satisfaction survey (measuring people skills extensively). In jeopardy of losing his job, the client asked me to work with Ralph directly. After one-on-one coaching, and a super-willingness on his part to improve his poor people skills, Ralph got one of the highest employee scores ever a mere one year later! Anyone can polish their people skills if they want to - and know how.

Time Commitment:
The 60 day change process requires just one full day devoted entirely to the process at the beginning. Additionally, most managers will spend 1 to 3 hours a week for our phone conferences and any learning assignments.

First Step:
Call me to discuss your situation. Free initial consultation to explore your goals and needs. This change process isn't right for everyone, but together we'll see if it may profit you: 800-841-8540 or E-mail:
mark@thepeoplekeeper.com

People Keeper Coaching
Goals: Improve Your Management Techniques, Communication, Mentoring and Retention

This is a great resource for managers, business owners and leaders that don't need the more intense 2-day coaching program.
Mark Holmes serves as the exclusive resource.

How it works:

You and I work together for 3 months in which you will have unlimited access with me through Email, fax or phone. We'll work on strategic issues (assessment of strengths and weaknesses--where you're at as a manager, where you want to be, obstacles to change, etc.) and principle-centered issues (prioritizing core competencies, resources needed for change, improvement plan focused on growth and development, etc.). Coaching doesn't interfere with your other obligations, you may "freeze" the calendar anytime you want, for up to 6 months at a time if necessary.

The fee is $1,500 for the 3 month interval, more intervals can be purchased if you want to continue the progress, or change our work focus to something else. Because the fee is favorable, it is paid in full and may be charged by credit card or by check.

Assessment Tools:

One or more assessment tools which I've developed over 15 years will be used to highly target our work together. Corporations routinely pay thousands of dollars for me to do this - they are included for you in your fee. Coaching may be one of the wisest investments you make.

To Get Started: E-mail, fax or by regular mail, send information about your needs as you see them, your goals, the challenges that you face, what you'd expect from the private Coaching Program and why you want to enroll. I will then contact you to discuss whether we both feel like this process can meet your needs.

Testimonials:

"Your help has been the cornerstone of our success. I strongly recommend you to anyone who wants to see their teamwork, leadership and planning really work. [Sales in the last 3 years have reached all time highs]."
Brian Hammons, President, Hammons Products Company

"Your contributions were very effective in our journey to becoming a High Performance Organization in a global marketplace."
David Channel, Human Resources, Wright Medical Technology
